BLUE BELL CREAMERY

We took a day trip to Austin and stopped in Brenham at the Blue Bell Ice Cream Factory to take a tour, unfortunately we didn't look into it first and so sadly we found out that the factory is closed on the weekend. We will just have to make another trip to see the factory! Fortunately they have a little country store and ice cream parlor so we were able to eat some yummy ice cream at the parlor and I picked up a cute picture frame for my cute picture of Mason playing in the blue bells. YAY!! :) We headed on to Austin and had a short visit with Papa Jim and we went to lunch with him at Sandra Bullocks backery/sandwich/flower shop. It was pretty good but not really a setting for kids. It was in an old biulding in downtown Austin, but really cute inside very quaint. On the way home Mason fell asleep and Porter was sweet enough to let him lay his head on his arm, what a sweet big brother!! :)
