Hiking at Camp Caro...

Friday was my Dad's day off from work and he promised the boys he would take them hiking so we got ready and headed to Camp Caro. We had a fun time spending the day with Grandpa Don.

The boys got to see Leigh in Utah and he had drill the day we saw him and so he was dressed in uniform and from then on the boys have decided that they want to be in the Army and Air force so Grandpa Don gave them each a hat and Garrett and Porter have not let much time go by with out wearing theirs so I had to get some pictures before we left hiking...Grandpa Don rounded up each of the boys a walking stick except Brody but he shared with Papa. They were all pretty excited but Porter was the only one that didn't get tired of hanging on to his before the hike was over! :)Brody loved climbing up on the big rocks with all the boys!!! Can you tell from the expression on his face?! :)Garrett and Porter picked Mama Sue flowers...Garrett found a cool stick on the hike and Papa and him fixed it up for his new walking stick... He is pretty proud of it and he has it hung next to Papa's walking stick in the garage! Garrett asked to get a picture next to his bike. He loves to go on bike rides with Papa, he really loved going for a ride with him after the hike and then getting to come home and wash their bikes together. I remember loving to do that with my Dad when I was a little girl! :)

What We Have Been Up To...

What we have been up to while in Spokane this far is lots of time playing with cousins, going to parks, stroller rides and Garrett riding his bike. The boys have loved getting to play with all their different cousins. We were even lucky enough to be here for Jenna's talent show, she tried out for and was chosen to sing a song she made up all on her own for her schools talent show. She is so cute and has so much personality and we loved going and watching her perform and the boys loved seeing all the other talents as well. I was able to pull out the camera one of the evenings we spent with Joel and Amber's kids...Monkey Moo made the trek to Spokane and has been hauled all over the place, Brody has probably become even more attached if that is possible and has the hardest time leaving him behind so he doesn't get so ridiculously, disgustingly dirty...My attempt didn't last long before Brody was back to take him along for all the fun he was having at the park.I love this one of Drew pointing out that he has lost his shoe! :)These cute boys LOVE to swing and swing and swing and swing some more!!Ethan had the biggest smile on his face just about every second of the time he was on the swing, so cute!! Garrett had so much fun riding his bike all over the place with Jenna!!

My Baby Brother Graduates...

I can't believe my baby brother has graduated from high school. That means I have been graduated for 11 years, it is really scary how fast life goes after high school. When I was in school it couldn't go fast enough and now it seems to go too fast, I wouldn't mind it to slow down just a bit, after all my little baby is going to turn two next month and pretty soon I won't have any babies left. So sad!!! :(Notice my twin and me with my brother after graduation... :)
