Birthday Boys...

Porter and Brody share the same birthday month less then a week apart and I am sure one day they won't be thrilled to share the same birthday party but for now they thought it was pretty fun and they were the cutest little birthday buddies I have ever seen!! We pretty much celebrated their birthday for a week and we started celebrating on Porter's actual birthday since it comes first so I thought it would be fun to dress them the same and take a couple birthday pictures together. Aren't they so handsome!! :)

Porter is getting so big. He starts KG this next Monday and he is really excited and cute about it but he is so painfully shy. He had a practice day this past week and although he is so shy and won't talk he loves doing all the work and comes home happy to tell you about it. Porter is a great brother to each one of his brothers and has a special friendship with each one. He is very thoughtful, sweet and sensitive but likes to play the tough guy and doesn't like you to know if you hurt his feelings, he would rather go off alone and work it out on his own. We love Porter to death especially because he has so many of the same characteristics as his Dad.

Brody is a whole new breed of CRAZY!! He knows how to melt our hearts with the simplest grin and sparkle in his eye but in a mila-second he can go from one extreme to the next. He loves his "guys" which our his brothers. He has started talking a lot more and saying sentences. When ever he sees us lately he will say, "Hey Ooo" or "Hi Ooo" and then when he leaves he says "Bye Ooo." He loves his "I" (pacifier) and we have just recently noticed he will use that word for anything he doesn't know how to say quite yet. He loves to show all the different body parts on him and you. He LOVES animals. His favorite meal is cereal. I love to listen to him talk to all of his brothers, he as a special friendship with Mase filled with silliness and Garrett is his go to guy for when ever he needs something because Garrett is the most caring. Most of all he absolutely adores his little stuffed Monkey Moo which in the Grandma and Grandpa McCombs house has become known as Stunky Monkey by my Dad. Stunky Monkey has been known to give loves to anything and everything from just about anyones face down to their toe jams and also he has loved all over my parents cat, Gus. He HATES going to nursery which makes church really rough. We love having this little man that is a whirl wind of emotions. He brings so much happiness and fun times to our lives!
